Member-At-Large

Melissa Crizer, ATEM

Energy Manager, Humble ISD
Well, I've been in the EM profession now for 3.5 years now. My vision is to build a sustainable Energy Management Program for the district that demonstrates our commitment to reducing costs while maintaining a safe and productive environment for our students and staff. I grew up in Humble ISD, so the success of this program is very important to me.

Prior to becoming an Energy Manager, I worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Investigational Pharmacy for 6 years, taught Chemistry and Physics for 10 years, and an Assistant Principal for 5 years. Yes, I do miss the kids, but I'm also enjoying this new adventure. I give TEMA credit for all that I've learned in the past few years and I look forward to what's ahead.

When I'm not at work, I love nothing better than being with my husband and my daughter...they are the absolute coolest!! My husband is a football coach & my daughter is a volleyball-playing, tumbling, cellist.
